In conjunction with a full brand redesign led by Perky Bros, we delivered a strategy to combine two existing websites into a single, user-friendly platform, resulting in a product as smart as the company it represents.

Room to grow

After tackling a rather complicated learning curve in order to understand the scope of the project, we recognized that Global X needed a site that could both accommodate and encourage growth. Not only were we combining websites, we needed to devise a long-term strategy that allowed the site to be rapidly populated and easily maintained. Working closely with the Global X marketing team, we devised a content strategy that mapped out content types, then developed a design for the database and website structure.

In the world of investment management, data needs to be up-to-date, 100% accurate, and compliant with regulations. We devised a system to handle incoming data from a variety of sources and update the site accordingly, checking for new files to parse every hour. After being sent to a database, the information goes through a number of calculations and is formatted and pushed to the website. While the engineering of this process was every bit as complex as it sounds, the fully automated system provides effortless data management for the client.

User Experience

Fast meets sleek

While certain behind-the-scenes elements of the website’s infrastructure were indeed complicated, we made the rest easy to maintain. The site runs on WordPress, which allows Global X to maintain key content, like blog posts. We also integrated the firm’s existing marketing software, which allows them to track customer leads. As far as user experience goes, a sleek brand redesign led by Perky Bros. gives the site a friendly, inviting feel; a custom suite of icons adds personality and function as an innovative sub-branding solution. From there, each page is carefully crafted with minimal coding for optimal page speed and mobile-friendly displays.

The result? A fast, technology-driven website that supports the stratospheric trajectory of a global player.
